35' Steam Yacht
Reminiscent of the small passenger steamers that were still familiar sights on Maine's bays and lakes sixty years ago, this boat combines the quiet and simplicity of steam power with traditional yacht styling and joinery. Driven by twin Semple 3" x 5" x 4" V-compound engines, she is fitted-out with enough brass piping and valves to satisfy any engineer, but is designed to be run by one person from the pilothouse.
She is arranged as a day-boat to suit her owner's desires, but she could
also have cruising accomodations. |

Steam combines the silence of sail with the convenience and predictability of power; underway, the loudest noise is the water against the hull, except, of course, when the skipper blows the three-note chime whistle! | |||
